Cornkeeper

This policy describes how Cornkeeper, an app published by Northbound Software LLC, handles information.

Information we collect

Cornkeeper does not collect any information. The app has no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics, and it does not connect to the internet. Nothing you enter is sent to Northbound Software LLC or to anyone else.

Information stored on your device

Cornkeeper saves your game so it is still there when you reopen the app:

• team names and team colors
• your rule settings, such as the target score and the bust, bag limit and skunk rules
• the current scores, the round number, and recent rounds kept for the undo button

This is held in the app's private storage on your device and stays there. We never receive it.

Team names are free text. A name you type is stored on your device like any other setting and is not sent anywhere.

If you back your device up, to iCloud or to a computer, Cornkeeper's saved game is included along with other app data, and Apple handles it under Apple's terms. Cornkeeper itself does not use iCloud and stores nothing there.

Third-party services

Cornkeeper contains no third-party software. It does not use advertising or analytics services, and it does not use the advertising identifier or any other device identifier. Cornkeeper does not track you and does not ask for permission to track.

Cornkeeper is distributed through the App Store. Apple collects its own information when you download an app, covered by Apple's privacy policy rather than this one.

If you have turned on Share iPhone Analytics and Share With App Developers in your iOS settings, Apple may include Cornkeeper in the crash and usage reports it provides to developers. Those arrive aggregated, and we cannot identify you from them. Turning off either setting stops them.

Children's privacy

Cornkeeper is suitable for all ages. It collects no information from anyone, including children under 13. It contains no advertising and no links that lead out of the app.

Accessing and deleting your information

We hold no information about you, so there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on request, and nothing to sell or share.

Everything Cornkeeper saves is on your device. Start New Game in Settings clears the current game, and deleting the app removes its saved data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always posted here with the date it was last revised.
